Defining serious employers: Leaders of Diversity

Our survey of non-EU talent facing deportation for minor errors (kompetensutvisning) has  been published over 30 times in the last year, including internationally. Rules designed to protect labor standards from non-serious employers, started to affect great employers as well - often for mistakes made in the past from others.

So, at the end of our survey which has over 600 respondents, there is an optional question :

"We have learned that many 'kompetensutvisade' have employers that really help - is your current employer someone who helps you with this situation? Do you want to nominate them for an Award?"

65+ employers were nominated, by foreign talent.

These are all success stories  of how normal HR Managers, CEO's, Mobility Specialists showed a commitment as not only serious employers - but genuine leaders of diversity.

This event is for everyone who needs some good news on diversity in Sweden. Employer, worker, Swedish, foreigner - all are welcome. Come celebrate great people at great organizations, 'doing it right'  when it comes to diversity, talent and work permits in Sweden.

This is a charity celebration,  and part of a non-profit, non-partisan initiative for inclusion in Sweden. No politics, tack - this is about people.

The winner is decided by an independent, balanced Evaluation Committee representing all perspectives of diversity and inclusion at work,  including Kompetensutvisning survivors. See how it works here.

This includes a career in finance, various executive positions, and leadership. Then he sold everything, traveled the world, and wrote a book about it where all proceeds go to charity. In between his coaching and charity activities he's helping Stockholm develop the city's first talent attraction strategy.
